Senior Clinical Research Associate – Oncology

About the role

Syneos Health is seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Research Associate to lead oncology study monitoring. The role involves both on‑site and remote oversight to ensure compliance with GCP and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site and remote monitoring of oncology clinical trials, reviewing protocols, consent forms, and case report forms.
• Develop monitoring plans, checklists, and templates to ensure quality and compliance.
• Document monitoring activities, write reports, follow‑up letters, and action plans.
• Coordinate site visits, track study progress, and resolve issues with investigators and site staff.
• Contribute to SOP development, training materials, and process improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–4 years of clinical research monitoring experience, preferably in oncology.
• Strong knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with clinical trial management systems.
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Certified Clinical Research Associate (CCRA) or equivalent preferred.
