Senior Cybersecurity Specialist

About the role

CoreX Holding is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist to join its Istanbul headquarters in Maslak. You will lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the company’s information security program across a global, multi‑sector organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and enhance the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and ensure ISO 27001 compliance.
• Develop, maintain and enforce security policies, standards and procedures.
• Oversee implementation of KVKK, GDPR and NIS2 controls.
• Conduct risk assessments, third‑party supplier risk management and mitigation planning.
• Operate and tune security tools such as SIEM, DLP, PAM and XDR.
• Monitor, analyse and respond to security incidents, and coordinate vulnerability management and penetration testing.
• Lead security projects and promote security awareness across the organisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of information security experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Fluent English with the ability to work effectively in a team.

Required skills

• ISMS, risk management and security architecture.
• Data security, IAM/PAM and SOC processes.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, KVKK and GDPR frameworks.
• Network security, TCP/IP, Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Hands‑on experience with SIEM, DLP, PAM, XDR, vulnerability management and penetration testing tools.
