Senior EHS Specialist – South East Region

About the role

Viessmann is seeking a Senior EHS Specialist for its South East Region, based in the Istanbul office. The professional will act independently to drive environmental, health and safety initiatives across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory, contractual and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on occupational health, safety and environmental matters for projects and acquisitions.
• Support senior leadership in deploying EHS strategies and promote a strong safety culture.
• Coach management teams on EHS responsibilities and business benefits.
• Lead investigations of workplace incidents, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Assess EHS resource needs during project proposal phases.
• Manage pre‑qualification, deployment and safety performance of subcontractors.
• Design, deliver and evaluate EHS training and development programs.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits, and close corrective actions promptly.
• Maintain internal EHS reporting, update policies, risk assessments and method statements.
• Produce EHS communications in various formats and support certification renewals.

Required profile

• Degree or NEBOSH International Diploma in EHS, Engineering or a related scientific/technical field.
• Proven experience as an EH&S Generalist, capable of working independently across multiple disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of German regulatory requirements and ability to support projects in the South East region.
• Willingness to travel regularly to job sites and depot locations.
