Senior Electrical Project & Maintenance Engineer – Greenfield Medical Factory

About the role

Wellspect Healthcare is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of a new greenfield medical device manufacturing facility in Ankara. The role covers the full project lifecycle from concept through hand‑over and ongoing plant operation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and evaluate LV distribution, transformers, busbars, generators, UPS, grounding and lightning protection systems.
• Supervise ELV systems including fire detection, CCTV, access control, data/telecom and Building Management System (BMS) integration.
• Manage electrical interfaces with EPC contractors, process equipment suppliers and other engineering disciplines.
• Lead FAT, pre‑commissioning, SAT and functional testing, track test protocols and resolve non‑conformities.
• Ensure as‑built documentation, maintenance procedures and compliance with GMP, QMS and OHS standards.
• Plan and execute preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance, root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in industrial or medical device manufacturing, preferably with greenfield projects.
• Hands‑on experience in electrical design, site implementation and commissioning of large‑scale facilities.
• Strong knowledge of LV and ELV systems, fire detection, BMS and HVAC automation.
• Familiarity with GMP, ISO 13485 and occupational health & safety regulations.

Required skills

• PLC and SCADA programming, preferably Siemens TIA Portal.
• AutoCAD and EPLAN drafting.
