Senior Financial Controller

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Controller to join our Financial Control team and play an active role in financial reporting, budgeting, cost analysis, and compliance processes. Key responsibilities

• Taking overall responsibility for monthly closing activities of Tarfin group companies.
• Coordinating and consolidating the monthly management reporting.
• Contributing to the annual budget by establishing monthly budget review procedures.
• Preparing monthly budget variance reports.
• Analyzing existing accounting and finance procedures to identify risks and establishing new control mechanisms.
• Coordinating the company’s annual audit with independent auditors and the accounting team.
• Working closely with the Product team to improve the Tarfin platform and its output.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field from a top university.
• Knowledge of IFRS is an asset.
• Solid knowledge of accounting.
• Strong analytical skills with a critical and inquisitive mindset.
• Highly motivated self‑starter comfortable taking initiative to drive operational changes.
• Efficient in using Excel for financial analysis and modelling.
• At least 10 years of experience preparing financial forecasts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash‑flow statements.
• Passionate about working in a dynamic startup environment.
• Fluency in English.
