Senior Hardware Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Hardware Design Engineer to lead multidisciplinary R&D projects focused on advanced RF, microwave and high‑speed electronic technologies for aerospace platforms. The role is hands‑on, covering the full product lifecycle from concept through prototyping, testing and production.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and validate analog, digital and mixed‑signal circuits for RF and microwave applications.
• Create schematics and high‑density PCB layouts using Altium Designer.
• Integrate high‑speed FPGA and SoC components, ensuring signal integrity and compliance with EMI/EMC requirements.
• Perform power distribution design and implement EMI/RFI protection strategies.
• Conduct environmental qualification tests and adhere to relevant aerospace standards.
• Utilise laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers and RF signal generators for testing and characterization.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and take technical ownership of hardware projects.

Required profile

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical, Electronics, Communication Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in hardware design, development and testing.
• Strong knowledge of analog, digital and mixed‑signal circuit principles.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Required skills

• Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout.
• High‑density FPGA and SoC hardware design.
• Signal integrity, EMI/RFI mitigation and EMC design.
• Power distribution and analog/digital circuit design.
• Use of oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers and RF signal generators.
• Environmental qualification testing and standards compliance.
• 2.5D/3D electromagnetic simulation tools.
