Senior Lead Engineer - R&D Hardware Design

About the role

A Hardware Technology Team is looking for a Senior Lead Engineer in R&D (Hardware Design) to join its team. The position is based in Çayırova, Istanbul, and focuses on defining global hardware requirements for Arcelik products and designing new-generation, cost-effective and reliable hardware.

Key responsibilities

• Define global hardware requirements and design them for the required Arcelik products
• Design hardware for new-generation devices to provide innovative and smart solutions
• Design cost-effective, reliable, robust and well-documented hardware designs
• Manage individual deadlines and deliverables
• Work with internal and external partners

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (M.Sc. is a plus)
• At least 9 years of experience in hardware design
• Experience designing Switch Mode Power Supplies (AC-DC, DC-DC)
• Experience designing digital and analog circuits
• Knowledge of safety and EMC standards, and of lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies and signal generators
• Excellent verbal and written English

Required skills

• Selection of MCUs, MPUs and peripherals
• Schematic and PCB design (Altium preferred)
• UART, I2C and SPI interfaces
• Simulation tools (LTSpice preferred)
