Senior Manager, Global Procurement (Raw Materials)

About the role

Quince, a manufacturer-to-consumer brand selling essentials at low prices, is looking for a Senior Manager, Global Procurement (Materials) to own and drive cost structures and savings. Reporting to the Head of Procurement, the role uses expertise in commodity costing, clean sheet costing, manufacturing efficiency and raw material availability to get material costs at or near should-costing, below market indices, while securing supply continuity and supporting product excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Set up a monitoring framework forecasting global market shifts, raw material fluctuations, currency risks and macro-material trends, and run a live tracking system for prices, currencies and supply risks
• Build and scale material-specific clean sheets to lock in baseline component costs and support Tier 1 negotiations, and support the Buy Plan margin review
• Map and design an upstream network strategy to consolidate raw material volumes and increase direct-to-mill leverage, and complete the Tier 2 and Tier 3 vendor landscape
• Design and run RFPs for raw material vendors, yarn spinners/mills, tanneries and textile mills, owning the full bidding process
• Negotiate immediate cost-reduction agreements with Tier 2 suppliers and build repeatable negotiation frameworks
• Identify and execute value creation opportunities such as verticalization, volume consolidation and trading commodities to manage price fluctuations

Required profile

• 12-15 years of experience in raw material sourcing, commodity procurement or upstream supply chain management
• Deep knowledge of textile raw materials including yarns, fibers, fabrics, leather and related commodities
• Experience negotiating directly with mills, tanneries, yarn spinners and raw material vendors
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree a plus
• Experience in upstream supply chain network design or consolidation preferred

Required skills

• Familiarity with commodity hedging frameworks and global market indices
• Proven ability to build and execute material-specific clean sheets
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, comfortable with large data sets
• Technical aptitude for using AI-powered platforms (e.g., LLMs) for scenario analysis and automation
