Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Data Center

About the role

Arup is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the mechanical design of resilient and efficient data centre projects in Turkey and internationally. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver cutting‑edge solutions for medium to large‑scale data centres.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake mechanical design elements for major data centre projects and manage the production of drawings.
• Prepare and coordinate mechanical reports, specifications and ensure collaboration with contractors, architects and project managers.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of other engineers, attend client meetings and translate client needs into tailored solutions.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Extensive experience in data centre mechanical design on medium to large‑scale projects.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and develop strong client relationships.
• Excellent planning, organizational and communication skills; fluency in English.
