Senior Officer, Program Operations

About the role

Save the Children International is seeking a Senior Officer, Program Operations to strengthen its Global Programme Operations team. The role will coordinate strategic initiatives, manage projects, and support risk and performance processes across a worldwide network of offices.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate global programme operations and risk, delivery, and performance priorities.
• Lead project management activities, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organisational standards.
• Monitor performance metrics and produce data‑driven insights for continuous improvement.
• Facilitate communication and knowledge sharing across teams and functions.
• Support organisational learning, risk management, and transformation initiatives.
• Engage with diverse stakeholders in a matrixed, global environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project management, analytical reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work confidently in a global, matrixed setting.
• Fluent English and right to work in the country of assignment.
• Willingness to travel on an exceptional basis for team meetings.
