Senior Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Senior Procurement Specialist will manage end‑to‑end procurement processes for mining and construction projects, working closely with project teams to ensure timely delivery of equipment, spare parts and materials.

Key responsibilities

• Research and evaluate potential suppliers for equipment, machinery spare parts, consumables and construction materials according to technical specifications.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules and contractual terms to secure competitive offers.
• Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships, monitor performance and develop alternative supplier networks.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, finance and operations teams to improve procurement speed and efficiency.
• Ensure procurement activities meet cost, quality and delivery targets.
• Conduct reporting, analysis and follow‑up on procurement operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgical and Materials Engineering preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in procurement, technical sourcing, production or technical sales within mining, heavy industry, construction or machinery spare parts sectors.
• Knowledge of mining equipment, machinery spare parts, consumables or technical materials.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in English.
