Senior QA Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to lead a next‑generation quality engineering practice for AI‑powered healthcare software. Based in Turkey, you will own the QA strategy, design testing infrastructure, and ensure the reliability, security, and performance of critical clinical workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute end‑to‑end QA strategy, including test plans, risk‑based coverage, quality gates, and release readiness criteria.
• Architect and maintain automated test frameworks for web UI, APIs, and integrations using modern tools such as Playwright.
• Automate regression testing of clinical workflows (triage, documentation, orders, discharge) and develop performance, load, and stress tests that reflect emergency department usage.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, applying AI‑assisted test impact analysis and parallel execution.
• Lead exploratory testing, defect management, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement of quality metrics.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional QA experience, with at least 3 years building automated testing solutions in SaaS or web environments.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, risk‑based testing, and the software development lifecycle.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with engineers, product managers, designers, and clinical experts in an agile, distributed team.

Required skills

• Programming: TypeScript, JavaScript, Python.
• Automation frameworks: Playwright (preferred), Cypress, Selenium.
• Performance testing tools: Locust, k6, JMeter.
• CI/CD integration, Git version control.
• API and integration testing, security testing, accessibility testing.
• Practical use of AI coding agents and large language models for test generation and maintenance.
