Senior RF Antenna Designer

About the role

Analog Devices is seeking a Senior RF Antenna Designer to support customers and internal teams in designing, simulating, validating, and integrating antennas for advanced RF systems across communications, radar, aerospace, defense, and emerging wireless applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, simulate, and optimize PCB, embedded, patch, dipole, array, and phased‑array antennas for a wide frequency range.
• Provide technical support on antenna selection, placement, matching, tuning, and integration, and troubleshoot issues such as mismatch, coupling, detuning, and EMC/EMI.
• Use EM and RF simulation tools (HFSS, CST, FEKO, ADS) to model antenna structures and environments.
• Perform antenna measurements (S‑parameters, radiation patterns, efficiency, gain) using VNAs, anechoic chambers, and OTA setups, and correlate results with simulations.
• Support system‑level validation including link budgets, MIMO performance, and phased‑array calibration.
• Serve as technical point of contact for customers, deliver presentations, application notes, and reference designs, and collaborate with sales, field, and product teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, Electromagnetics, or related field.
• Strong fundamentals in antenna theory, electromagnetics, and RF/microwave design.
• Hands‑on experience with antenna measurements and RF test equipment (VNA, spectrum analyzer, signal generator).
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both expert and non‑expert audiences.
