Senior SEO Specialist (SEO + GEO)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior SEO Specialist (SEO + GEO) to co‑own organic growth across technical SEO, content optimization, and emerging AI‑driven search experiences. This fully remote position will shape how our B2B SaaS content is discovered, understood, and cited on traditional search engines and AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews.

Key responsibilities

• Own the technical SEO strategy and execution, including crawlability, indexation, structured data, sitemaps, canonical tags, redirects, site architecture, and Core Web Vitals.
• Conduct regular technical SEO audits with Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and Google Search Console, prioritising improvements based on business impact.
• Develop content architecture and internal linking strategies to strengthen topical authority.
• Lead keyword research and translate GEO intent into actionable content briefs.
• Build and own the Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategy, optimizing content for AI Overviews and LLM‑powered search.
• Set direction for link‑building, identify link‑worthy assets, and manage backlink health.
• Collaborate with content, product marketing, design, and engineering to improve messaging and technical implementation.
• Present SEO and GEO performance insights to marketing leadership.

Required profile

• 5+ years of SEO experience, preferably owning organic strategy for a B2B SaaS website.
• Deep technical SEO expertise across crawlability, indexation, structured data, Core Web Vitals, and site architecture.
• Hands‑on experience with SEO platforms such as Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and GA4.
• Experience with AI‑visibility platforms (e.g., Otterly, Profound) and measurable GEO/AEO results.
• Data‑driven mindset with ability to connect organic performance to paying customers.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration and communication skills.
