Senior Software Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer you will design, develop and maintain industrial software applications that support manufacturing and operational environments. You will work closely with senior developers, operators and business stakeholders to drive digitalisation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain C#/.NET, Angular and MSSQL based applications and services.
• Own solutions end‑to‑end from requirements gathering through deployment, monitoring and production support.
• Implement backend services, APIs and machine‑data integrations using MQTT, NATS, OPC‑UA and Kepware.
• Build real‑time dashboards and reporting tools for production KPIs.
• Troubleshoot issues across frontend, backend, database, messaging and machine integration layers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably with production systems, manufacturing or industrial automation.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate with engineers, operators and business stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed.

Required skills

• C#/.NET (ASP.NET Core, APIs, asynchronous programming, background services).
• Angular and TypeScript.
• MSSQL (database design, indexing, query optimisation, stored procedures).
• Redis, NATS, MQTT, OPC‑UA, Kepware.
• AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Codex) and ability to review AI‑generated code.
• Git, CI/CD, automated testing, observability and production troubleshooting.
