Service Sales Engineer - Motors & Drives

About the role

ABB is looking for a Service Sales Engineer in Istanbul to support its Motion Service Division, focusing on service sales for Motors & Generators and Drives. The role reports to the Factory Service Sales Proposal Manager and is based onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare offers in coordination with the Sales Manager, ensuring the technical and financial aspects, including prices and trading conditions.
• Plan and carry out the required number of weekly sales visits, report them and manage leads and the pipeline in Salesforce.
• Build customer relationships, understand customer needs and promote the full range of services, ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Prepare sales plans, perform regular status reviews and use effective sales techniques to close transactions, contracts and proposals.
• Communicate delivery times, payment terms and general conditions in line with ABB's offering and strategy.
• Identify new market opportunities, share know-how and collaborate across teams.
• Promote ABB's service products and solutions at events and trade shows, monitoring trends to improve marketing activities.
• Manage administrative procedures in sales and support collection and project management when needed.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical or Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Fluent Turkish and English.
• At least 3 years of experience in related fields.
• Knowledge of motors and drives, and of service, product and market offerings.
• Valid driving licence and ability to travel frequently for customer visits and presentations.
• Self-motivated, curious and eager to learn about new technologies.
