Service & Support Engineer – Industrial Automation

About the role

Yokogawa is seeking a Service & Support Engineer to provide lifecycle support for Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Emergency Shutdown (ESD) systems at customer sites in Izmit and surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze customer functional requirements and develop system solutions.
• Install, start‑up, modify, upgrade, maintain and repair DCS and safety systems.
• Perform AMC maintenance activities and ensure technical design compliance.
• Lead and execute FAT/SAT testing, create test documentation and reports.
• Provide 24/7 on‑site and remote support, including acting as resident engineer when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Process Automation or equivalent.
• 3–6 years of engineering/service experience with control or emergency shutdown systems.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) and willingness to travel onshore and offshore.
• Valid driving licence (B) and completed military service for males.

Required skills

• Experience with DCS and ESD system installation and commissioning.
• Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and EPLAN.
• Ability to produce functional design specifications and system design documents.
