Software Engineer – Capital Markets Application Development

About the role

Yapı Kredi Technology is seeking a Software Engineer to join its Capital Markets Application Development team. You will work on modernizing and extending high‑performance financial applications that support trading, order management, risk, and portfolio management.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java‑based microservices for capital‑markets solutions.
• Write and optimise Oracle PL/SQL code and maintain Oracle Forms where required.
• Integrate legacy Oracle applications with new Java/Microservices architectures.
• Collaborate with business analysts to translate trading‑lifecycle and market‑data concepts into technical specifications.
• Ensure high‑volume, low‑latency performance for mission‑critical financial applications.

Required profile

• Graduated from a STEM discipline (Computer Engineering preferred) from a reputable university.
• Minimum 2 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities in a fast‑paced fintech environment.
• Experience in brokerage, investment, banking, or fintech firms.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
