Solutions Architect – Cloud & Financial Services

About the role

The Solutions Architect will work closely with sales teams and customers to design cloud‑based solutions for the financial sector. The role involves translating business needs into technical architectures and supporting proposals, contracts and tender processes.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in customer meetings with sales to analyse needs and provide cloud technology consultancy.
• Define technical requirements, solution scope and architecture during the design phase.
• Coordinate technical negotiations and gather information from relevant technical teams.
• Identify required products, infrastructure and hardware to adapt existing services to customer projects.
• Manage technical aspects of proposals, contracts and tenders in collaboration with sales.
• Prepare technical topologies and solution documentation for customer‑specific proposals.
• Provide technical consultancy for product and service development activities.
• Accompany customers on data‑center visits and deliver technical presentations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in pre‑sales solution design, planning, proposal and contract processes.
• Deep architectural experience with at least one public cloud platform (Azure, AWS or GCP), preferably for financial services.
• Experience designing hybrid and multi‑cloud (on‑premises + public cloud) architectures.

• Public cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, GCP.
• Hybrid & multi‑cloud architecture design.
• High Availability, Fault Tolerance and Disaster Recovery (BCP/DR) design.
• Active‑Active / Active‑Passive design patterns.
• Zero‑trust architecture and security architecture review.
• Penetration testing experience.
• Identity and Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Multi‑Factor Authentication (MFA).
• Hardware Security Module (HSM) and Key Management Service (KMS) solutions.
