Specialist Project Manager

About the role

Profen is seeking a Specialist Project Manager to lead medium to high‑complexity projects within its telecommunications and defence divisions. The role involves coordinating cross‑functional teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily project activities, monitor progress, and report status to stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, assign tasks, and manage resources.
• Track key milestones, adjust schedules or resources as needed, and manage risks.
• Facilitate communication across all enterprise areas impacting scope, budget, and timeline.
• Conduct quality reviews and escalate issues related to functionality, timeline or quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Mechanical, Control Systems, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in communications or defence technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Experience with both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of project management processes, resource and change management techniques.
• PMI or Agile certifications are a plus.
• Advanced presentation and facilitation abilities.
