Storage Sales Specialist

About the role

The Storage Sales Specialist will drive sales of HPE data storage products and solutions across an assigned territory, working closely with account teams and channel partners. The role is hybrid, requiring on‑site presence at the HPE office two days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and manage a robust storage sales pipeline, capturing leads and ensuring follow‑up.
• Collaborate with account managers, presales, and channel partners to develop end‑to‑end solutions and close deals.
• Assess solution feasibility, qualify opportunities, and negotiate profitable contracts.
• Provide consultative guidance to C‑level clients, articulating technical and business value.
• Lead storage‑focused marketing campaigns and enable partners to co‑sell.

Required profile

• University or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 6‑10+ years of sales experience, including 2‑3+ years in storage sales.
• Proven record of meeting or exceeding quota and managing complex sales cycles.
• Strong vertical industry knowledge and project‑management experience.

Required skills

• Deep expertise in data storage products and solutions.
• Knowledge of cloud and related service offerings.
• Ability to evaluate technical and business feasibility of solutions.
• Experience with sales tools for pipeline and account planning.
