Supply Operations Quality (SOQ) Market Lead - Turkey

About the role

Pfizer is looking for a Supply Operations Quality (SOQ) Market Lead for Turkey. The role provides leadership and oversight of market quality operations, ensuring compliance with Pfizer standards, GDP/GMP regulations, local health authority requirements and global quality expectations, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Turkey SOQ organization, manage people, technology and financial resources, and champion innovation in quality systems and business processes.
• Translate divisional and regional quality strategies into local execution plans and assess talent needs and succession pipelines.
• Ensure compliance with Pfizer Global Quality Standards, GDP/GMP, local Turkish regulations and health authority expectations.
• Lead quality oversight of complaints, deviations, CAPAs, change controls, market actions, returns and product disposition.
• Maintain inspection readiness, support internal audits and regulatory inspections, and escalate significant quality or compliance concerns to regional leadership.
• Manage quality systems governance, including SOPs, quality management reviews, training compliance, and commitments from audits, deviations and CAPAs.
• Investigate and resolve market quality issues, oversee deviation management and CAPA implementation, and support local disposition of imported products.
• Oversee quality of contractors and logistics service providers, including qualification, auditing, quality agreements and performance monitoring.
• Support market launches, product lifecycle management, supply continuity and business transformation initiatives.
• Train, coach and mentor team members and build a high-performing, diverse quality team.

Required profile

• BA/BS degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, or MBA/MS with 5+ years, or PhD with 3+ years.
• Extensive knowledge of GDP/GMP and pharmaceutical quality systems.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device or other regulated industries.
• Experience leading complex projects and managing cross-functional stakeholders.
• Fluent in English and Turkish.

Required skills

• Quality systems, investigations, CAPA management, audits and inspections.
• Microsoft Office Suite and electronic quality documentation and record management systems.
• Bonus: Master's degree in a science, pharmacy, engineering or quality field; experience with multinational pharmaceutical organizations; experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot.
