Supply Planning Specialist - Traded Goods (IMEA)

About the role

Henkel is looking for a Supply Planning Specialist to play a key role in ensuring product availability across the IMEA region. The specialist works with cross-functional teams, optimizes inventory levels and turns complex supply challenges into effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for weekly supply planning of Traded Goods (finished goods imported from other continents to the IMEA region)
• Keep the Traded Goods portfolio supplied in the most cost-effective way, at target service and inventory levels
• Check order confirmations, follow up on open orders and monitor punctuality and delivered volumes; work with Cross-Regional Supply Chain teams to act quickly on preponements and avoid delays
• Handle unforeseen changes in supply and demand, solve problems to ensure timely delivery and escalate critical availability issues to the IMEA Traded Goods Planning Manager
• Maintain Traded Goods material master data and planning parameters (SAP, APO SNP), define safety stock norms and reduce slow- and non-moving products in IMEA
• Make sure KPIs such as write-offs, slow movers, days of stock and customer service level are aligned with targets

Required profile

• University degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in supply planning, ideally in FMCG and/or chemical sectors
• English with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and aptitude for building relationships across the organization

Required skills

• Advanced use of MS Office applications
• SAP APO knowledge is desirable
