Surveying / Geomatics Engineer – 2 Openings

About the role

Akteknik İnşaat Sanayi & Ticaret A.Ş. is looking for two Surveying / Geomatics Engineers to join a strategic ground infrastructure and road construction project in Turkey. One senior‑level professional (10‑15 years experience) and one mid‑level professional (5‑10 years experience) will work full‑time on‑site, supporting all surveying activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all field surveying tasks for road and infrastructure works, including setting out, staking, and control measurements.
• Establish and maintain the project control network and benchmark system.
• Conduct topographic surveys and produce as‑built documentation.
• Calculate earthwork volumes and prepare quantity measurements for progress payments.
• Verify horizontal and vertical road alignment against approved drawings.
• Operate and maintain total stations, GNSS/GPS receivers, and levelling instruments.
• Process survey data and generate drawings and reports using CAD and surveying software.
• Coordinate closely with site management, planning, and quality‑control teams.
• Senior engineer will supervise survey operations, validate measurements, and provide technical guidance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying or Geomatics Engineering.
• 5‑10 years (mid‑level) or 10‑15 years (senior) of professional experience in road and infrastructure surveying.
• Proven field experience with total stations, GNSS/GPS, and levelling equipment.
• Strong ability to read and apply technical drawings, standards, and project specifications.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Willingness to work full‑time on‑site.
