Survivability Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Survivability Design Engineer to develop hull, mine‑kit, seat and floor structures that meet stringent survivability protection requirements for military land vehicles. The role combines detailed CAD modelling, engineering change management and verification testing to ensure that all designs comply with contract specifications and internal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design hull, mine‑kit, seats and floor structures using Enovia and CATIA platforms.
• Implement engineering changes on subsystems and maintain product data.
• Develop designs that satisfy both contractual and internal survivability requirements.
• Improve existing systems and perform cost‑benefit analysis for alternative concepts.
• Plan and execute verification and qualification tests for mine‑protection compliance.
• Collaborate with other subsystem teams to achieve overall mine‑protection objectives.

Required profile

• BSc in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of structural design experience, preferably on military land vehicles.
• Proficiency with CATIA V5/V6 and Enovia.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and armored‑vehicle structures.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
