About the role
Kastamonu Entegre is seeking a seasoned System Support Senior Specialist to join its IT team in Altunizade, Istanbul. You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing both Linux and Windows server environments while ensuring high availability and security across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Install, configure, patch, upgrade and secure Linux and Windows servers.
- Monitor system performance, conduct capacity planning, troubleshoot issues and drive optimization initiatives.
- Administer user access, identity integration and enforce security policies.
- Design, implement and maintain backup, disaster‑recovery and business‑continuity solutions.
- Develop automation scripts using Bash, Python, PowerShell, Perl, Ruby or Go.
- Manage web servers (Apache, Nginx) and databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Utilize monitoring tools such as Zabbix, ELK, Prometheus and Grafana.
- Deploy and manage virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere, Proxmox VE, KVM/QEMU) and oversee VM lifecycle operations.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, cloud and application teams on modernization and automation projects.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of hands‑on Linux system administration experience.
- Professional‑level English proficiency.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and ability to work in a hybrid environment.
- Completed military service for male candidates.

- Linux distributions (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian, RHEL).
- Bash scripting.

- Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform.
- AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
- CI/CD and DevOps practices.

- Networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Firewall).
