Systems Engineer – Fixed-Term Contract

About the role

FEV Türkiye is looking for an on‑site Systems Engineer to support vehicle‑level systems engineering activities at a customer site in Gemlik. You will act as a key interface between engineering domains, ensuring alignment of requirements, architecture, traceability and governance throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Manage vehicle‑level requirements and ensure end‑to‑end traceability.
• Develop and maintain system architecture frameworks and MBSE models.
• Use Codebeamer to maintain requirements, baselines and traceability structures.
• Coordinate technical alignment across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Support change, deviation and engineering governance processes.
• Participate in technical reviews, risk analysis and verification planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer or Software Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive systems engineering or vehicle development.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent English communication (spoken and written).
• Willingness to work 100% on‑site in Gemlik and travel domestically as needed.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Codebeamer for requirements management and traceability.
• Knowledge of Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies.
• Experience in functional decomposition, use‑case development and system architecture definition.
• Familiarity with Automotive SPICE, ISO 26262 or similar automotive standards (preferred).
• Experience with change management, deviation management and engineering governance processes.
