Talent Acquisition Specialist – Medical Billing Expert

About the role

This full‑time remote position blends hands‑on medical billing expertise with talent acquisition to source, assess, and place revenue‑cycle professionals for U.S. therapy practices. You will use your deep knowledge of the billing cycle to evaluate candidates’ technical abilities and ensure a strong match with practice needs.

Key responsibilities

• Source and build pipelines of qualified medical billing and RCM candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals and direct outreach.
• Conduct technical screening calls, reviewing experience with full‑cycle billing, payer requirements, EMR systems, clearinghouses and therapy‑specific billing.
• Assess billing proficiency by evaluating candidates’ understanding of claim workflows, EOBs, denials, appeals, payment posting and A/R follow‑up.
• Administer and score role‑specific skills assessments, flagging inconsistencies between stated experience and demonstrated knowledge.
• Provide evidence‑based written evaluations and match candidates to the operational requirements of each partner practice.
• Coordinate hiring activities, including interview scheduling, offer coordination, onboarding hand‑offs and replacement searches.
• Refine assessment tools and share recruitment insights with leadership to improve sourcing strategies.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on medical billing covering the full revenue cycle.
• Strong knowledge of payer requirements, EOB interpretation, reimbursement rules and common claim denial reasons.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and manage multiple open positions without close supervision.
• Reliable home office with stable internet connection.

Required skills

• Full‑cycle medical billing (charge entry, claim submission, payment posting, denials, appeals, A/R follow‑up).
• Experience with therapy EMR and billing platforms such as WebPT, Prompt, Raintree or similar.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, workers’ compensation and out‑of‑network billing.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, Google Workspace and cloud‑based communication tools.
