Tax Specialist

About the role

Akkök Holding is seeking a Tax Specialist to join its Tax Management team. The role involves supporting both local and international tax matters across the Group, contributing to strategic tax projects, and ensuring compliance with evolving tax legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and assess the impact of tax legislation and regulatory changes on Group companies.
• Support tax planning, optimization initiatives, and the effective use of tax incentives.
• Coordinate tax-related work with external advisors and service providers.
• Assist with tax audit, declaration, reconciliation, and litigation processes.
• Identify tax risks and help develop robust tax control processes.
• Support transfer pricing, BEPS compliance, and related advisory activities.
• Contribute to Country‑by‑Country Reporting (CbCR) and Pillar Two reporting.
• Participate in tax workstreams for M&A projects and corporate restructurings.
• Monitor international tax developments and prepare practical approaches for relevant jurisdictions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in tax advisory, audit or consultancy.
• CPA (SMMM) certification or candidate status.
• Strong understanding of tax regulations and ongoing regulatory developments.
• Experience in transfer pricing, international tax, tax incentives or M&A tax processes is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
