Technical Service Manager – MENA Region

About the role

The Technical Service Manager will provide customer‑focused technical support across the MENA region, helping poultry producers improve flock performance and product outcomes while strengthening long‑term relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular technical visits, site inspections and six‑monthly review meetings with key customers to drive performance improvements.
• Develop, implement and monitor customer improvement plans and annual product improvement plans, tracking metrics such as first‑week mortality and chick shipments.
• Record all interactions in the Aviagen Macro CRM, coordinate data submission to internal tracking systems, and produce monthly technical reports.
• Collaborate with senior technical managers, commercial managers and product managers to align technical recommendations with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with biosecurity standards during all customer interactions and support quality assurance activities.
• Represent Aviagen at industry associations and technical meetings, maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine, Agricultural Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical or customer‑facing role within the poultry industry.
• Strong knowledge of Grandparent, Parent Stock and Broiler operations; veterinary, incubation and nutrition knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic or French is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications.
• Data analysis and reporting capabilities.
