Technical Support Engineer for Railway Systems

About the role

You will join Wabtec's regional Technical Support and Field Services team, acting as the primary technical interface for Metro/Public Railway customers in Turkey. The role involves delivering high‑quality support, building strong customer relationships, and contributing technical expertise to sales activities.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main technical contact for local Metro/Public Railway customers, handling field service, maintenance, and operations queries.
• Maintain regular communication and on‑site visits to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to quality standards.
• Provide technical recommendations to support sales leads and prepare customer offers in line with Wabtec guidelines.
• Collaborate with Wabtec Field Services and SISCO Engineering to resolve technical issues, claims, and warranty disputes.
• Deliver technical presentations, monitor product usage, and keep documentation up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electro‑Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in product engineering, systems maintenance, technical support, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of railway platforms and systems, fluent in Turkish and English.
• Customer‑oriented mindset with problem‑solving abilities and independent deadline management.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Experience with ERP systems.
