Technical Support Engineer – Level 2

About the role

Devexperts is seeking a Level 2 Technical Support Engineer to join its Operations team. You will protect proprietary trading platforms by monitoring them proactively and resolving incidents for partner companies.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively monitor proprietary trading platforms and identify operational gaps.
• Register, investigate and resolve service requests, incidents and problems from monitoring or partner complaints.
• Assist DevOps, developers and QA engineers with platform‑related issues.
• Communicate with client and partner representatives, providing timely support.
• Share knowledge and best practices with fellow team members.

Required profile

• Strong analytical, investigative and troubleshooting abilities.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Experience working in a Linux environment.
• Familiarity with ITIL/DevOps processes is a plus.

Required skills

• UNIX/Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL preferred)
• Command‑line proficiency and basic shell scripting (awk, perl)
• SQL‑like query languages
• Java programming basics
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Elastic Stack or Zabbix
• Knowledge of Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence, FishEye)
• Understanding of trading/exchange, risk‑management or brokerage software (nice‑to‑have)
