Temperature-Control Warehouse Associate

About the role

Cencora is seeking a motivated individual to join its warehouse team, focusing on the handling of temperature‑sensitive materials. You will ensure that products are stored and shipped under the required conditions, supporting the company’s mission to improve health outcomes worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor temperature‑sensitive materials during storage and shipment preparation to maintain required conditions.
• Update warehouse transactions, inventory records, and shipment documentation for traceability.
• Identify on‑hold, damaged, or non‑conforming items and route them through defined handling procedures.
• Coordinate material movement using approved warehouse equipment to ensure safe and efficient flow.
• Prepare packaging materials and shipment areas to support timely outbound activity.
• Escalate non‑standard handling or inventory issues for prompt resolution.

Required profile

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Less than 2 years of experience in warehouse support, distribution, shipping, receiving, inventory control, or related fields.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations (receiving, storage, picking, packing, staging, shipping).
• Understanding of inventory control principles, stock movement tracking, and material traceability.
• Familiarity with temperature‑controlled handling and cold‑chain requirements.
• Ability to follow established procedures, maintain accurate records, and identify exceptions.

Required skills

• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or equivalent certification (preferred).
• Inventory control techniques.
• Temperature‑controlled handling practices.
• Operation of approved warehouse equipment and tools.
