Trader – Commodity Sales (Hazelnut Products)

About the role

We are looking for a Trader / Commodity Sales professional to manage and grow our hazelnut and hazelnut‑ingredients portfolio in Turkey. The role is remote‑based (home office) and will work closely with sales, operations, quality and sourcing teams to drive commercial growth.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and expand the existing customer portfolio in the Turkish market.
• Identify and acquire new customers for hazelnut and hazelnut‑ingredients products.
• Prepare quotations, pricing proposals and contracts in line with customer requirements.
• Negotiate commercial terms together with sourcing and procurement teams.
• Manage sales projects, pipeline and opportunity tracking.
• Produce sales forecasts, monitor commercial risks and take corrective actions.
• Generate regular reports based on customer visits and market analysis.
• Coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, trading or business development within hazelnut, food ingredients or agricultural commodities.
• Proven B2B sales experience and strong customer relationship management.
• Knowledge of market mapping, segmentation and new‑business development.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Commercial mindset focused on results and profitability.
• Excellent negotiation, persuasion and relationship‑building abilities.
• Analytical thinking with the ability to interpret market dynamics.
• Genuine interest in agricultural commodity markets and staying up‑to‑date with industry trends.
• Advanced written and spoken English proficiency.
