Transport Planner

About the role

The Transport Planner is responsible for planning, executing and monitoring both local deliveries and export shipments. The role ensures that shipments are booked promptly, orders are delivered on time and in full, and supports SAP warehousing and transport planning workstreams as a super‑user.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with Supply Planner and Customer Care to support customer orders.
• Coordinate with the Plant team to confirm inventory availability for deliveries.
• Work with Warehouse to issue shipping documents, manage finished‑goods transfers, monitor container loading and dispatch.
• Interact with freight forwarders, providing delivery notes and commercial invoices.
• Collaborate with Quality to obtain Certificates of Analysis and update stock releases.
• Create and amend delivery notes, commercial invoices, record shipment costs and generate daily, weekly and month‑end reports.
• Book trucks with transporters and produce shipment completion reports.
• Act as SAP Super User during setup, assisting the Warehouse Manager and providing English‑language support in meetings.

Required profile

• Recognised Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent.
• 1‑2 years of experience in logistics, shipping or export functions.
• Fluent in English and Turkish.
• Strong planning, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and challenge decisions when appropriate.
