Trim Design Engineer

About the role

FEV Türkiye is looking for a Trim Design Engineer to join its automotive engineering team. You will work on interior, exterior, D&C or HVAC development projects for passenger cars or commercial vehicles, ensuring high‑quality design solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Participate actively in design review meetings and propose effective solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams and suppliers from concept to SOP.
• Prepare technical reports, tracking documents, presentations, RFQs and RFIs for clients and suppliers.
• Perform 3D design and 2D detailing using CATIA V5, Siemens NX or Creo.
• Coordinate design deliverables, monitor milestones and ensure technical consistency across components.
• Manage data, version control and documentation through PLM systems such as Teamcenter, Windchill or Enovia.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s or PhD is a plus).
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of automotive industry experience.
• Proven track record in interior, exterior, D&C or HVAC projects.
• Familiarity with automotive product development processes and quality standards (ISO/TS 16949, APQP, PPAP).
• Willingness to travel and work onsite at Teknopark Istanbul or Bilişim Vadisi.
