UI/UX Designer (Product Designer) - Marketplace & Mobile-First

About the role

Viravira is looking for an experienced UI/UX (Product) Designer to build and improve mobile-first marketplace experiences. You will design user-centered experiences across web and mobile products, working closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver solutions that meet both user needs and business goals. Experience designing two-sided marketplace products is a strong plus.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver high-quality user-centered experiences for digital products.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs in Figma.
• Work with developers so designs are implemented to a high standard.
• Contribute to design systems, style guides and design documentation.
• Improve marketplace flows (search, listing, detail, booking/checkout) and mobile-first search, filtering and sorting on high-traffic pages.
• Translate complex business rules (availability, pricing, add-ons, policies) into simple user experiences.
• Own design QA after release: review shipped UI, cover empty/loading/error states and iterate with engineering.
• Use metrics (funnels, drop-offs, conversion) and UX writing to iterate and improve trust messaging.

Required profile

• 5+ years of UI/UX or product design experience with proven shipped web and mobile work.
• Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent practical experience preferred.
• End-to-end ownership from discovery to handoff and iteration.
• Strong communication, writing and product mindset; professional English (other languages a plus).

• Figma (Auto Layout, components, variants, prototyping)
• User research and usability testing
• Jira, Miro and design system tools such as Zeroheight or Abstract
• Nice to have: usability tools, multi-language UI, analytics mindset, AI-assisted design tools, developer handoff workflows, basic WCAG and UX writing
