Utilities Supervisor – Wastewater Treatment

About the role

Join a leading global food company as a Utilities Supervisor responsible for the operation of the Wastewater Recovery Plant (WWRP) and Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) at the Bandırma site. You will ensure continuous water production, compliance with environmental regulations, and optimal performance of utilities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the WWRP and WWTP, guaranteeing reliable water output and compliant discharge.
• Ensure adherence to corporate Utilities and Maintenance guidelines, environmental licenses, and local regulations.
• Oversee waste disposal, effluent measurements, laboratory analyses, and respond to audits and inspections.
• Control costs, monitor KPIs, track energy consumption, and evaluate maintenance effectiveness.
• Utilize SAP PM for stock movements and maintenance planning.
• Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs and maintain tools, equipment, and instruments.
• Lead and develop the field maintenance team, promoting best practices and safety standards.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies, conduct risk assessments, and report incidents promptly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience maintaining industrial equipment, especially in water and wastewater systems.
• Proven ability to manage utilities operations in an industrial setting.

Required skills

• SAP PM module proficiency.
