Video Editor (Turkish-speaking, Remote)

About the role

Gozel Law Firm PC, a U.S.-based immigration law firm, is looking for a Video Editor to create engaging video content for its social media channels such as Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. The role combines video editing with graphic design work for social media and suits candidates fluent in Turkish and English. It is a full-time independent contractor position of 40 hours per week, remote, with working hours aligned to New York (EST) time zone.

Key responsibilities

• Create and edit promotional videos, social media content and advertising campaigns for the firm.
• Develop platform-specific video content for YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok.
• Handle post-production tasks, including video editing, color grading and sound design.
• Add graphics, text animations and motion graphics to improve video quality.
• Oversee audiovisual projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery.
• Craft video stories that match the firm's brand identity.

Required profile

• Fluency in Turkish and English; Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in video production and post-production.
• Strong creative vision, attention to detail and excellent time management.
• A forward-thinking approach to AI, using it to work smarter and faster.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Final Cut Pro.
• Motion graphics, animation and sound design experience.
• Familiarity with social media video formats and platform requirements.
• Experience with video shooting or camera operation is a plus.

Candidates should attach a portfolio of their graphic design and video editing work to their resume. Selected candidates will be asked to complete a short video editing assignment and explain their choices in English.
