Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

This role leads the warehouse team and oversees all warehouse operations, from inbound and outbound flows to inventory control and process improvement. It also covers workforce planning, HSE compliance and the digitalisation of warehouse activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead warehouse operators and operational teams, including performance, development, engagement and disciplinary processes.
• Monitor warehouse KPIs such as cost, budget, productivity, service levels, inventory accuracy, order fulfilment, on-time shipments, space utilisation and safety, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead projects to design, improve and optimise warehouse processes, and drive continuous improvement using Lean Warehousing, 5S, Kaizen and problem-solving methods.
• Maintain high inventory accuracy through cycle counting, stock reconciliation and root cause analysis of discrepancies.
• Oversee inbound, storage, replenishment, picking, packing and outbound operations to meet service level targets.
• Ensure HSE compliance and local regulatory requirements, and develop workforce planning, shift scheduling and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with Production, Planning, Procurement, Customer Service and Logistics teams for smooth material flow.
• Lead digitalisation and automation initiatives such as WMS enhancements, barcode scanning, RF devices and warehouse optimisation tools.
• Ensure proper maintenance of material handling equipment such as forklifts, VNA trucks, reach trucks and conveyors.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 5 years of warehouse operations experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
• Experience in warehouse layout design, slotting optimisation and storage capacity planning.
• Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen or Continuous Improvement certification is an advantage.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with SAP WM (mandatory).
• Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen or similar continuous improvement knowledge.
