Welding Engineer

About the role

The company is seeking a Welding Engineer to develop and maintain welding procedures, optimise processes and provide technical support to production teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR).
• Design, optimise and improve welding processes and parameters for quality and productivity.
• Provide technical support, troubleshoot welding issues and implement corrective actions.
• Program and optimise robotic welding systems to improve cycle time and weld quality.
• Ensure compliance with welding standards and support inspection processes, including destructive and non‑destructive testing.
• Conduct weld inspections, quality checks and maintain measurement and traceability records.
• Collaborate with design, quality, maintenance and automation teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Automotive, Materials or related engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of welding engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in MAG welding processes, both manual and robotic.
• Experience with welding robot programming; familiarity with Panasonic systems preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in English (written and spoken).
