Data & Governance Engineer – Databricks

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Data & Governance Engineer to design and implement data analytics, engineering and governance solutions on the Databricks platform. The role focuses on logistics, supply chain and manufacturing data within enterprise environments, working in a hybrid model from Teknopark Istanbul.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build data architectures, pipelines and data models on Databricks.
• Integrate and transform data from ERP, MES, WMS and logistics systems.
• Deliver analytical, reporting and predictive outputs using Power BI.
• Ensure data quality, governance, cataloging and access management.
• Perform process and data flow analysis, identify gaps and define improvements.
• Support standardisation and centralisation of data platforms across business units.
• Execute testing, validation and documentation of data solutions.

Required profile

• Experience with enterprise data environments, especially logistics, supply chain or manufacturing domains (optional).
• Ability to work on international projects within a fast‑paced technology environment.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to data quality.

Required skills

• Databricks Lakehouse, Spark, PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog.
• ETL/ELT pipeline development and data orchestration.
• Data modelling (relational and distributed) and SQL.
• Data governance and data quality practices.
• Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
• Power BI or similar BI tools.
