About the role

Join Marriott International as a Front Desk Clerk in Istanbul, where you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring smooth check‑in and check‑out experiences while delivering the high standards of hospitality the brand is known for.

Key responsibilities

• Process guest check‑ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing keys.
• Handle all payment types, including cash, checks, debit and credit cards, and resolve any disputed charges.
• Manage check‑outs, finalize guest bills, and ensure accurate accounting of receipts.
• Answer guest calls, record requests, and coordinate with housekeeping to confirm room readiness.
• Provide parking information, dispatch bell or valet staff, and give directions to local attractions.
• Run daily arrival/departure reports, verify special requests, and complete cashier and closing reports in the computer system.
• Count cash at shift start and end, balance receipts, and follow accounting procedures for deposits.
• Adhere to safety, security, and company policies, maintaining a professional appearance and confidentiality.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training provided.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Capability to lift, carry, push or pull objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Strong communication skills and a courteous, professional demeanor.
