Heart of House Specialist – Hotel Utility Cleaner

About the role

We are looking for a Heart of House Specialist to join the JW Marriott Istanbul Marmara Sea team. In this full-time position you will support various hotel departments by ensuring clean linens, spotless dishware and well-maintained cleaning equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver fresh linen and clean dining ware to guest areas.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, hand-wash stations, linen washers and dryers.
• Transport dishware, linens and other items between departments such as kitchen, food-and-beverage and laundry.
• Follow safety procedures, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and uphold quality standards.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting objects up to 50 lb, standing for long periods and reaching overhead.

Required profile

• Ability to work without a high-school diploma or prior experience.
• Willingness to follow company policies, maintain a professional appearance and communicate effectively.
• Physical capability to lift, carry, push, pull and move items up to 50 lb.

Required skills

• Basic operation of cleaning equipment such as dishwashers and linen washers.
