IT Operator

About the role

The IT Operator provides first‑line help‑desk support to bank staff, monitors IT infrastructure, and ensures smooth daily operations of hardware, software and services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide help‑desk assistance via phone, email and portal, create and follow up incident tickets.
• Monitor IT infrastructure events, generate periodic statistics and report to the Head of IT.
• Maintain and troubleshoot hardware and software, produce daily shift reports for the IT Service Manager.
• Manage IT contracts, licenses and asset lifecycle from acquisition to disposal.
• Operate application release publishing tools and oversee backup jobs, Windows updates and tape operations.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in an IT support or operations role.
• Good written and verbal communication skills with medium‑level English.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with at least one ITSM tool.
• Windows Update management and Windows desktop backup/restore/encryption.
• Hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Network Access Control (NAC) operation.
• Experience with release publishing tools and asset lifecycle management.
• Monitoring of backup jobs and tape library operations.
