Plumber / Laborer – Incirlik Air Base (Turkey)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Plumber/Laborer to support the plumbing infrastructure at Incirlik Air Base in Turkey. The role involves installation, inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and overhaul of potable‑water, sanitary sewer and related utility systems for the U.S. Air Force installation.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and repair leaks, low pressure, blockages, failed valves, damaged fixtures and pump failures.
• Maintain and overhaul water mains, service lines, distribution piping, valves, pumps and related components.
• Locate and isolate water leaks to protect personnel, facilities and mission operations.
• Clear blocked drains, waste lines and sewer laterals using approved methods.
• Test, service and replace backflow‑prevention devices and fire hydrants as assigned.
• Support sewage lift stations and related equipment when qualified.
• Document all work in the government‑designated maintenance management system and ensure compliance with Air Force, Unified Facilities Criteria, Uniform Plumbing Code, host‑nation and environmental standards.

Required profile

• Experience with military or government plumbing systems preferred.
• Ability to respond to routine and emergency service calls and work independently onsite.
• Knowledge of Air Force requirements, Unified Facilities Criteria and Uniform Plumbing Code.
• Valid plumbing certification or equivalent trade qualification.
