Chef de Partie – Culinary Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at St. Regis Istanbul. You will be responsible for preparing high‑quality dishes, maintaining consistency, and supporting the culinary team during busy service periods.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare special meals and substitute items according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters; pull and thaw frozen items safely.
• Ensure proper portioning, arrangement, garnish, and maintain food logs.
• Monitor food quality and quantity, communicate assistance needs, and inform the Chef of excess items for specials.
• Update service staff on menu specials and out‑of‑stock items.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, and employee coaching.
• Follow all safety, security, and company policies; report maintenance or safety issues.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and uphold confidentiality of proprietary information.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree in culinary arts or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant kitchen experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 25 lb and perform repetitive motions.
• No supervisory experience required.
