About the role
This full-time, on‑site Food Server role is based in Istanbul at Days Hotel by Wyndham Maltepe. The Food Server greets guests, presents menus, takes food and beverage orders, and serves meals and drinks promptly and courteously.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests, present menus and take food and beverage orders.
- Serve meals and drinks in a timely, courteous manner.
- Set up and clear tables, maintain cleanliness in dining areas.
- Ensure service standards and hygiene guidelines are followed.
- Process payments and respond to guest inquiries.
- Coordinate orders and special requests with kitchen and bar staff.
Required profile
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of food & beverage operations and basic hygiene standards.
- Basic cooking awareness to communicate menu items accurately.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Previous experience in hotel or restaurant service preferred.
- Attention to detail, reliability and ability to stand and move for extended periods.
- Conversational proficiency in Turkish; additional languages, especially English, are an advantage.
