General Mechanical Technician (Hotel Maintenance)

About the role

As a General Mechanical Technician you will keep the Porta Chiara Hotel safe, functional and comfortable for guests and staff. You will work on a variety of systems throughout the property, ensuring that every mechanical element operates smoothly and contributes to a memorable hospitality experience.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily hotel facility maintenance and ensure the physical safety of guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces.
• Respond promptly to guest calls and internal work orders, delivering timely repairs.
• Perform repairs and routine maintenance across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, masonry and other mechanical systems.
• Carry out preventive maintenance inspections, identifying potential issues before they affect operations.
• Document all inspections, repairs and any follow‑up actions in the maintenance system.
