IDC IT Operations Technician (24x7 Shift)

About the role

IDC is hiring an IT Operations Technician to perform 24x7 on-site IT operations at a data centre, aligned with a team of four colleagues on rotating shifts. The role covers monitoring, ticket handling and basic troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform 24x7 on-site IT operations according to customer requirements.
• Monitor data centre IT infrastructure and support daily operational activities.
• Handle and complete daily work orders and tickets according to procedures and SLA requirements.
• Support basic troubleshooting of servers, networks and data centre equipment.
• Take part in incident and emergency response.
• Maintain accurate operational records and hand over information between shifts.

Required profile

• Vocational diploma, associate degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, IT or a related field; fresh graduates with a relevant technical background may also be considered.
• 1+ year of IT operations or data centre experience.
• Able to work a 24x7 rotating shift schedule.
• Turkish and working-level English required.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of servers, networks and data centre equipment.
